Join us in Tahiti for the 23rd edition of FIFO - the Festival International du Film Documentaire Océanien, a unique cultural event celebrating the stories and voices of Oceania, from French Polynesia to New Zealand, Hawaii, Australia, and beyond. Held each year at the Maison de la Culture in Papeete, right by the waterfront, FIFO brings together a vibrant mix of documentaries, fiction films, and a curated evening of short films - many followed by opportunities to meet the directors, actors, and production teams.
While the FIFO film festival is the centerpiece of this trip, we’ve designed the experience to offer a balance of culture, discovery, and personal freedom. With your full festival pass, you’ll have access to all screenings, talks, and workshops throughout the week. Whether you want to immerse yourself fully in the films or mix in a bit of island adventure, the choice is yours.
You’ll be accompanied by Larissa Rolley, an experienced travel curator and photographer who has spent over 15 years traveling to Tahiti. She will be present throughout the week to coordinate activities, offer cultural insight, provide local guidance, and help you make the most of your time in Tahiti and at FIFO.
